Agro Farming & Processing
Agriculture and agro-food processing are two important industries that are closely related and play a critical role in feeding the world’s population.
Agriculture involves the cultivation of crops and the raising of livestock for food, fiber, and fuel. It encompasses a wide range of activities, including the selection and breeding of crops and animals, the application of fertilizers and pesticides, and the use of modern farming techniques to improve yields and increase productivity.
Agro-food processing, on the other hand, refers to the transformation of raw agricultural products into finished food products. This can include activities such as cleaning, sorting, grinding, mixing, packaging, and distribution. Agro-food processing can take place on a small scale, such as in a local bakery or creamery, or on a large scale, such as in a multinational food conglomerate.
Together, agriculture and agro-food processing form a critical part of the global food supply chain, helping to ensure that people have access to a diverse and nutritious range of food products. However, these industries also face a number of challenges, including the need to improve efficiency and reduce waste, the impact of climate change on crop yields and livestock health, and the need to address food safety and quality concerns.
In order to meet these challenges, the agriculture and agro-food processing industries are turning to new technologies, such as precision agriculture, data analytics, and automation, to improve efficiency, increase yields, and enhance food quality and safety.
Metkor Agro Farming & Processing division brings a new face to environmental friendly agricultural production and processing applying modern technology. This involves the production, processing, sales and marketing of the product to satisfy the customers need. Metkor brings world class advanced technology when it applies to agrichemicals, breeding, crop production (farming or contract farming), distribution, farm machinery, processing, and seed supply, as well as marketing and retail sales. All agents of the food and fiber value chain and those institutions that influence it are part of the agribusiness system.
Our vineyard management program helps winegrowers, whether small or large scale, to track harvests, field conditions and grape maturity in order to maximize yields and manage labor.
The demand for hyper-local produce is booming, and Metkor will be investing in building and operating greenhouses in urban and suburban areas. The company partners with local supermarkets and puts the farm at or near the store to maximize produce freshness.

Industry Focused Farming & Production
Grape Wine
Metkor is in the process of acquiring a medium range vineyard and apply organic farming models to produce best nature friendly and healthy grape fruits for human consumption.
Corn Silage
Corn silage is made out of whole ensiled maize plants. Corn silage is a popular forage for ruminant animals because it is high in energy and digestibility and is easily adapted to mechanization from the stand-crop to time of feeding. In our integrated Dairy Farm, Metkor will establish a Corn Silage processing facility to prepare inhouse Silage suitable for the Dairy catles.
Corn
Corn is a starchy vegetable and cereal grain that has been eaten all over the world for centuries. It’s rich in fiber, vitamins and minerals. In our integrated farm project, we produce our Corn for various process.
Walnut
Walnuts are an exceptionally nutritious nut. They have higher antioxidant activity and significantly more healthy omega-3 fats than any other common nut. This rich nutrient profile contributes to the many health benefits associated with walnuts. Metkor will start planting Walnut in 30 Hectares land as a trial perennial project.
Integrated Dairy Farm
Metkor is developing an integrated dairy farm. In the Phase I, there will be 200 Holstein Friesians Cows, Separate barns for Calves, Dry and Wet animals, dairy processing unit, 1000 Hectares Corn Field, including Corn Silage, 20 Hectares land dedicated for Biogas Power Plant etc.
Greenhouse Farming - Fruits & Vegetables
Greenhouse farming is the unique farm practice of growing crops within sheltered structures covered by a transparent, or partially transparent, material. The main purpose of greenhouses is to provide favorable growing conditions and to protect crops from unfavorable weather and various pests. In Metkor we are setting up a trial production of various green vegetables, and fruits to harvest throughout the year despite of different seasons or weather situations.
Hi-Tech Vertical Farming - Fruits & Vegetables
Vertical farming is the practice of growing crops in vertically stacked layers. It often incorporates controlled-environment agriculture, which aims to optimize plant growth, and soilless farming techniques such as hydroponics & aquaponics. In our Phase I project we are setting up 10,000 Sqm vertical farming infrastructure to cater very high yield leafy vegetables, and fruits for year around harvesting.
Organic Farming - Vegetables
Metkor OrgaFarm brings the best quality vegetable from our 5 Hectare land on a trial production. More details about this project will be published soon.
Processing Plant - Fruits & Vegetables
Processing of fruits and vegetables is very important to produce products for direct consumption and as food ingredients. During processing, the main objectives are to preserve the color, flavor, texture, and nutrition while prolonging the shelf life of perishable fruits and vegetables. More details about this project will be published soon.
